Sunday Mornings 11.00am

Changed People
The gospels are full of stories about people who encountered Jesus, and had their lives changed – normal people like us.  As they met him, had conversations with him, saw him in action, they realised nothing would ever be the same again.  We’re going to be looking at some of these people, folk who only appeared for a few short verses – not the disciples who were with Jesus for longer, to see what happened, and what we might learn from their experience.  Then, in the season of Pentecost, our focus will switch to those who encountered God through the Holy Spirit, again, looking at different individuals and what effect the Holy Spirit had on them.

For our First Sunday services, rather than the children having to break off from their Sunday School series as we all come to worship and learn together, we will follow the programme they are on, so will be looking at some Old Testament characters in April, May and July and considering the power of the Holy Spirit as part of their June topic.
