Overseas Mission
We are committed to engaging in the wider ministry of the church, and support our mission partners and others financially and in prayer. Currently our mission partners are:
- Tim and Rachel Green who work with Interserve and are now based in Oxford. Tim is involved in translating the Bible and producing discipleship courses in many languages and also studying for a PhD. Rachel is involved in the Oxford University Christian Union and travels widely speaking at Missionary Conferences. Having worked in Pakistan and Jordan they have a great love for Muslim people and are involved with a group called ‘Muhaba’ (Arabic for loving) offering friendship and support to the many Muslim students in Oxford.
- Chris and Maggie Lambert continue working in North Africa serving the local population, sharing God’s love and sharing their faith as they build up relationships with friends and neighbours. Both being doctors they have plenty of skills to be employed once they learn the language.
- Geoff and Caroline Shave work in Namibia with Agape. Geoff is National Campus Director for evangelism amongst university students and has already witnessed seeing many students responding to the Gospel.
